W.O.S.B.- Underrepresented NAICS, Codes.

Women Owned Small Businesses are under-represented or substantially under-represented in 83 North American Industry Classification System, or NAICS, codes according to a report by the SBA.

Based upon a study commissioned by the SBA from the Kauffman-RAND Foundation the 8m rule identifies 83 industries identified by the 4 digit North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code in which women-owned small businesses are under-represented or substantially under-represented.
