Military Equipment and Vehicle Reset Programs

Military Equipment and Vehicle Reset Programs

The Military RESET process takes used vehicles and equipment apart, inspects the parts, then replaces any defective parts and refurbishes the equipment to like-new or better condition. Upgrades are performed as required.

Military RESET and related processes like remanufacture-upgrades are being performed on Abrams tanks, Bradley IFV/CFVs, HMMWV, and various support equipment.

The Military Reset programs start when the equipment returns from the front lines of Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations, where sand damage has increased wear. A lot of this equipment was manufactured in the 1980s, and is reaching the age where extensive maintenance is a necessary measure.
