Government Drawings and NSN drawings are available on Fully Competitive items from the Defense
Industrial Supply Centers or other procurement sources as long as they are on
open solicitations.
These drawings are free to download during
the open solicitation period.
Obtaining access to unclassified technical
data drawings disclosing militarily critical technology with military or
space application that is under the control of, or in the possession of the
U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) or the Canadian Department of National
Defense (DND) requires a JCP certificate

Enter the Drawing Cage Code, then enter the Part Number.

Select the DLA Supply Center (DISC, DSCR or DSCC). You may also
leave this option as "ALL" if you wish to get drawings for this CAGE
from all 3 supply centers.

Click Submit Query.

You will come to a page that lists the drawings
associated with the CAGE and Part Number you entered. Select the drawing
you wish to view.

Look under the column entitled "Available Format"
-
If it says "CARD" the drawing
is only available currently on aperture cards. Click on the word
"CARD" and you will be taken to a page that has the email
addresses of the personnel who can supply you with the card.
Send them email asking for the aperture card.

If it says "DIGIT" then the
drawings is available to download. Nearly all drawings are in a
digitized format. Click on the word "DIGIT". Proceed to Step 6.

Click on the word "Download" for the drawing you wish to see. If
your viewer is installed properly it will open up and display the
drawing on your PC. You can enlarge sections of the drawing and you can
print a copy of the drawing as well.
Get Drawings From The RFQ Search
Results.
From the
Procurement Gateway Homepage look under the left-hand column for
"Search" and click on "RFQs". Determine your search criteria and conduct
your search. For more information on how to search for RFQs see the RFQ Search Help Pages

The results of your search will be in a table format. Look under
the column titled "Drawings". If you see a pencil icon ,
then that indicates that the corresponding solicitation has
applicable drawings.

Click on the pencil icon. A list of drawings ( there may be 1 or
many) that are applicable to the NSN will appear.

Search For Drawings
Directly On The Automated Bidset Interace (ABI) Web Server
Begin by starting at the
Procurement Gateway Homepage.
You can search for drawings by various
search criteria,
either Solicitation
Number, NSN, FSC,
Drawing Cage Code or
Drawings Cage Code
and Part Number.
REMEMBER:
Regardless of how you search, you will only find drawings that are on
Open Solicitations. If you are searching by Solicitation Number, make
sure the RFQ is still open. If you are searching by other means, you
will only find drawings if that NSN, FSC, or Drawing Cage is on an
open
solicitation.
Drawings
found that
begin with SP059903Z are not for competitive solicitations but
are placed on the web for the
Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Program vendors. You must be
approved for this program in order to receive these types of RFQs.
Search for drawings by Solicitation Number:
-
Enter the Solicitation Number . Remember that the 3rd digit of
the Solicitation Number is the numeral "0" not the alpha "O". (e.g.
SP0560 (SP-ZERO - 560). You can also enter partial
solicitation numbers. For example, SP05 will bring you drawings for
any DISC solicitations, while SP050000T will bring you drawings for
DISC "T" solicitations.

Select the DLA Supply Center (DISC, DSCR or DSCC). Be sure you
are choosing the correct center for the solicitation drawing you are
looking for.

Click Submit Query.

You will come to a page that lists the solicitation number.
Click on the number.

The NSN associated with that solicitation will be displayed.
Click on the NSN.

A listing of applicable drawings will be displayed. Depending on
the NSN, there may be only 1 drawing listed or there may be quite a
few.

Look under the column entitled "Available Format".

Click on the word "Download" for the drawing you wish to see. If
your viewer is installed properly it will open up and display the
drawing on your PC. You can enlarge sections of the drawing and you
can print a copy of the drawing as well.

Search for drawings by National Stock Number (NSN)

Enter the National Stock Number (NSN) . To enter the NSN you
must first enter the 4 digits of the FSC, then the 9 digits of the
NIIN. You do not have to enter dashes. You can enter a full or
partial NSN.

Select the DLA Supply Center (DISC, DSCR or DSCC). Be sure you
are choosing the correct center for the solicitation drawing you are
looking for.

Click Submit Query.

You will come to a page that lists the National Stock Number.
ABIWeb will provide you with detailed information about that NSN. If
you entered a partial NSN, you will receive a list of NSNs that
begin with the numbers you entered. Click on the NSN you wish to
view.

A listing of applicable drawings will be displayed. Depending on
the NSN, there may be only 1 drawing listed or there may be quite a
few.

Look under the column entitled "Available Format".

Click on the word "Download" for the drawing you wish to see. If
your viewer is installed properly it will open up and display the
drawing on your PC. You can enlarge sections of the drawing and you
can print a copy of the drawing as well.

How to search for drawings by Federal Stock Class (FSC)

Enter the Federal Stock Class (FSC).

Select the DLA Supply Center (DISC, DSCR or DSCC). Be sure you
are choosing the correct center for the FSC you are looking for.

Click Submit Query.

You will come to a page that lists all the National Stock
Numbers (NSN) for that stock class that are on open solicitation.
Select an NSN and click on it.

A listing of applicable drawings will be displayed. Depending on
the NSN, there may be only 1 drawing listed or there may be quite a
few.

Look under the column entitled "Available Format".

How to search for drawings by Drawing Cage Code

Enter the Drawing Cage Code. This will be a 5 digit number. You
can also enter a partial Cage. If you know the drawing Cage code
begins with a "1" and that is the only digit you enter, you will
receive all the drawings with Cage Codes that begin with a "1".

Select the DLA Supply Center (DISC, DSCR or DSCC). You may also
leave this option as "ALL" if you wish to get drawings for this CAGE
from all 3 supply centers.

Click Submit Query.

You will come to the Drawings List page that displays the
drawings on open solicitations that match the CAGE code you entered.
Select the drawing you wish to view.
