As of July 1, 2002, the "report cards" developed in CPARS
automatically flow to a Government-wide repository entitled DOD Past
Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) for use in source
selection. To go direct to the PPIRS, visit
http://www.ppirs.gov/default.htm.
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
requirement to consider past performance information prior to making a
contract award (FAR Parts 15, 36 and 42). From the the
Central Contract Registration (CCR) process http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors
with an active registration in CCR will be asked for their DUNS number and
Transaction Partner Identification Number (TPIN). Contractors will then
assign themselves a personal code entitled "Marketing Partner Identification
Number (MPIN)". The MPIN acts as your password and should be guarded as
such. Contractors will make up their own password, which must have 9 digits
containing at least one alpha character and one number (no spaces or special
character permitted). If you are not registered in CCR and need an MPIN,

registration and details on how to register.
