The mission of the Army’s Depot Maintenance Enterprise (DME) is to provide the resources, skills and capabilities to sustain the life cycle readiness of the Warfighter’s weapon systems and equipment worldwide in a reliable and efficient manner.The Depot Maintenance Enterprise consists of resource providers, acquisition and sustainment planners, and maintenance performers. The critical role Army depot level maintenance plays in our national security strategy has never been more apparent. The requirement to rapidly reset the equipment of units redeploying from Iraq and Afghanistan has demonstrated the need for a Depot Maintenance Enterprise that is agile, effective, forward deployable, and able to surge. Anniston, Alabama - TACOM Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is the designated Center of
Industrial and Technical Excellence (CITE) for combat vehicles (tracked and
wheeled), artillery (self propelled and towed), bridging systems, and small
caliber weapons (individual and crew served). ANAD performs depot level
maintenance on vehicles ranging in size from the Stryker to the 70 ton M1
Abrams Tank and a variety of other types in between, like the M113 Family of
Vehicles, the M88 Recovery Vehicle, and the M9 Armored Combat Engineering
vehicle. Major components of each vehicle are also overhauled and returned
to stock. ANAD personnel are deployed around the world in direct support of
our nation’s war fighters providing fielding services and repairs in the
field. Combat and battle damage repairs are currently being accomplished
both at home and abroad. Corpus Christi Army Depot Overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize
helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military

AMCOM As the Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Air Defense and Tactical Missile Systems, Letterkenny continues a tradition of supporting our soldiers and our Army for more than 60 years. Letterkenny has unique tactical missile repair capabilities repairing a variety of Defense Department missile systems including the PATRIOT Missile and its ground support and radar equipment. Most recently, Letterkenny has expanded it's product line to include to overhaul of tactical wheeled vehicles (HMMWV's), material handling equipment (7.5Ton Cranes), and Mobile Kitchen Trailers. As the Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Mobile Electric Power Systems, Letterkenny possesses the capability to repair and remanufacture Power Generation Sets in sizes from 5KW to 150KW. Letterkenny Army Depot is under the command
structure of The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). Letterkenny
